Like buses, sometimes you have no exhibitions then three come at once! My latest ‘A Natural History (Living Landscapes)’ is showing at the Linklater Pavilion, Railway Land Local Nature Reserve, Lewes from Saturday July 14th until Sunday July 22nd 2012. Being the latest in the series, this exhibition will bring together the some of my favourite pieces from ‘A Natural History (Parts 1 & 2)’ together with a sneak preview of ‘A Natural History (Part 3)’ which will be shown later in the year. Other illustrations that have accompanied Michael Blencowe’s ‘Viva Lewes’ wildlife features will also be exhibited.
The show also forms part of the Sussex Wildlife Trust’s ‘Living Landscape Festival‘ with a launch of the festival and the preview of the exhibition happening at the Linklater Pavilion on Friday 13th July 6-8 pm. Lewes’ very own Oyster Project will be providing both the bar and music. Michael Blencowe, the Sussex Wildlife Trust’s Community Wildlife Officer, will be giving presentations about some of the subjects depicted in the work. Invitations are open to all!
During its run the show will be open between 11.00am – 5.00pm weekdays and weekends. Hope to see you there!!
