It was a busy July with ‘A NATURAL HISTORY’ appearing in three exhibitions. Here’s a few photographs of both my bird and landscape wildlife prints that were shown as part of ‘A Natural History (Living Landscapes)’ at the Linklater Pavilion in Lewes between the 14th & 22nd July 2012. The exhibition formed a large part of the Sussex Wildlife Trusts ‘Living Landscape Festival’ which ran for the whole week and I had a great time meeting lots of like-minded people.
In addition to the exhibition both myself and Michael Blencowe of the Sussex Wildlife Trust worked together with Compass Community Arts and the Linklater Pavilion’s very own Nature Corridor Group to deliver a few wildlife related relief printmaking workshops. It was great to see people having so much interest and enthusiasm in both the birds and other wildlife we have in our local area.
Thanks to everyone who managed to make it to the show both during the week and to the preview on evening of the 13th July. It was a lovely evening with the Oyster Project providing the bar and music and I hope that everyone who came managed to see the talk that was given by the inspirational Michael Blencowe.
