For those of you who have visited the site before you may remember that both myself and painter Andrew Redden showed together for the first time in July 2012 at the Trinity Gallery Hastings. Entitled ‘Our Common Land’ the exhibition focused on the inspiration and influence that we both draw from the natural landscapes that we find around us.
Following on from the interest and success that we had from that particular exhibition both myself and Andrew brought a selection of new work together for a festive exhibition called ‘Michaelmas’. The exhibition ran from the 19th November -2nd December but fear not of you missed it as it will be especially re-hung for the week before Christmas.
Here’s a few photographs I’d like to share of the bird prints shown as part of ‘Michaelmas’ exhibition. Most of the work that I showed comes from ‘A Natural History (Part Three)’ and includes birds such as the Jackdaw (my current favourite!), Red-legged Partridge, Turtle Dove, Short-eared Owl and Collared Dove. The full screen-printed collection of which will be shown in 2013.
A big thank you also goes out to everyone who came and to Gavin and Rachel of Trinity Gallery.
